"We always imagined something like this for the Another Friend music video. It's a blend of my obsession with Manga and Daniel's knack for writing James Bond theme songs. " -Vocalist Dana Hobson.

After partnering with social app Vero, Dana and the Wolf, who incidentally went to film school together, are now able to bring their music video fantasies into reality. With their last 2 premiering on Billboard and Clash Magazine the duo has gained enough confidence to delve into the experimental realm of animation.

 

Teaming with the brilliant abstract artist Arman Alipour, they hoped to portray the pains of losing another friend through frame-by-frame and 2D motion graphics. The result is darker than their previous campy videos, but befitting of the melodramatic song.

The duo has also topped the Hype Machine charts, been spun on KCRW and premiered on multiple international Apple's Best of the Week and Spotify New Music Friday playlists where they hit #29 on the US Viral 50 Charts. You can expect more new music and videos from DATW in the coming months.
